Sarab
"Sarāb" means "mirage" in Arabic. Born from the meeting of the Franco-Syrian singer and musician Climène Zarkan and the guitarist Baptiste Ferrandis, the project was expanded with the arrival of musicians with diverse backgrounds to lead a chimerical adventure , in which live together the fury of contemporary jazz and the infinite richness of traditional Middle Eastern music. Dreaming with the harmonies of jazz, exulting with the energy of rock, dancing with the rhythms of the world, the music of Sarāb emerges in new chords drawn from the depth of the past, playing the card of the contrast between the instrumental power and the delicacy of Climène's song.
