Singer-songwriter Maë Defays grew up in a family of artists from the world of music and film. Her crystal voice, her fluid silhouette, her groovy arrangements: from the first notes, the singer and guitarist asserts a jazz-soul style with perfect balance. Her inspiration comes to her from her Caribbean and European origins, which she combines in a style that harmoniously blends English, French and Creole. His artistic and musical influences are of weight: Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Sade, Erykah Badu ... Maë Defays multiplies the stages in Paris, Guyana, Martinique and the first parts of concerts (Macy Gray, Boyz II Men, Sarah McCoy, Michelle David, Kimberose or Ibrahim Maalouf). His latest EP "Whispering" released in January 2020, sponsored by Jazz Radio, launches on March 9, 2020 with a first concert at New Morning as headlining.
