A bridge between jazz and pop song.
Alfio Origlio, through the album “Secret Places”, offers a real reinterpretation of pop and soul tracks. Thanks to his subtle arrangements, he restores the both powerful and voluptuous character of standards respectfully borrowed from Stevie Wonder, U2, Grégory Porter, Seal or even Jeanne Moreau with an overwhelming version of his “Indolent Blues”.
The singer Célia Kameni brings to this revisitation a powerful and captivating breath. With Brice Berrerd on double bass and Zaza Desiderio on drums, who pool great energy in the service of the most accomplished complicity and a remarkable sense of listening.
Everyone takes their place, contributes with the genius of their instrument, takes pleasure in expressing the emotion of this musical moment.
For the public, it is not four musicians who play, but a unique ensemble that offers us and makes us live a pleasurable artistic experience.
